The Rawlings Hollywood Impact double first base features a one-piece molded rubber design that won't separate and compresses upon impact, reducing the risk of ankle, leg, and knee injuries. The double 1st base design includes a regulation-size white base for fielders and a bright orange regulation-size outside base for baserunners to reduce collisions and provide safety on the base path. The underside of the base is fortified with a Chevron pattern that provides stability, support and is vital to the base’s ability to compress upon impact.
