The Marucci CATX2 Connect Vice -8 is a two-piece hybrid youth bat built for power hitters who want a finished feel with big-barrel pop and reduced sting. Its limited-edition Vice colorway pairs Marucci craftsmanship with Connect-era technologies like the AZR alloy barrel, S-25 composite handle, and low-vibration OLS connection for a confident, powerful swing.
- Two-piece hybrid construction: AZR alloy barrel mated to an S-25 composite handle for power with vibration control
- AZR Alloy: 3-stage thermally treated AZR aluminum for a more responsive, forgiving barrel feel
- Outer-Locking System (OLS): outside-in connection designed to create a stiff joint and minimize vibration transfer
- S-25 Composite Handle: engineered to be 15% less stiff than the CATX Connect handle for added whip and reduced hand sting
- Liquid-Gel System: patented dampening in the knob and endcap to absorb vibrations and deliver a smooth, solid feel at contact
- Youth competition ready: USSSA 1.15 BPF certified with a 2 3/4-inch ring-free barrel and an end-loaded swing profile for power hitters
