Make every scoop look routine. The Rawlings Heart of the Hide 12.25" First Base Mitt (PRORDCTU-10PCB) uses Rawlings’ proven DCT first base pattern — an extended length with a deep, wide pocket — built for serious first basemen who need extra reach, elite scoopability, and secure ball control on tough throws. The Single Post, Double Bar Web gives you a stable, forgiving catching window while still allowing you to track the ball in. As part of the R2G (Ready 2 Go) line, it shows up factory softened with a re-engineered heel pad, so you only have about 35% player break-in to finish. Premium U.S. steerhide, deertanned cowhide lining, padded thumb sleeve, and thermoformed wrist padding keep it comfortable inning after inning.
