Stay nimble at first with the 2026 Wilson A2000® 1677SS 12.5” Baseball First Base Mitt, a premium first base mitt designed for athletes who need agility, control, and trusted performance around the bag. Built to handle like an infield glove, the A2000 1677SS features a single break point design that helps first basemen react quickly, pick throws in the dirt, and secure hard-hit balls on the right side of the infield.
The Single Post Web creates a stable, reliable pocket for receiving throws, stopping ground balls, and keeping line drives from getting past. At 12.5”, this mitt offers the size and coverage first basemen need while still maintaining a quick, controlled feel for fast plays around the base.
Crafted with Blonde Pro Stock® Leather across the palm and web, the 1677SS delivers the rugged durability, premium structure, and unmatched feel players expect from the Wilson A2000 series. The Royal Blue SuperSkin™ backing helps reduce weight while adding long-lasting durability, moisture resistance, and easy-clean performance, making this mitt ready for long seasons and high-level reps.
Inside the glove, Comfort Pro™ Fit with ProLux™ leather lining provides a softer, richer feel against your hand, while Flat Finger Binding gives finger-out players added comfort and control. DriLex® Wrist Lining helps keep your hand dry and comfortable through warm practices and game days, while Bold Wilson Logos add a sharp finish to the Royal / Blonde / Red colorway. Built for first basemen who want premium feel with quicker glove control, the 2026 Wilson A2000 1677SS is ready to own the bag.
