Douglas TN-30DM Tennis Net with Center Strap 30030S The Douglas TN-30DM meets the USTA requirements for official size. Net is constructed of 1-3/4″ square mesh, 3.0 mm braided solid core polyethylene. Top six rows are double mesh. Includes 1/2″ Fiberglass side dowels and center strap. These TN-30DM double mesh tapered nets are ideal for high school and college programs as well as community recreation facilities. These TN-30DM double mesh tapered nets boast the same features as the standard TN-30 with the addition of double thickness at the top 5 mesh rows and bottom taper. This double mesh adds increased durability since the top rows are the area of the net that tennis balls hit the most leading to net fatigue. The net tapering prevents excess rubbing of the vinyl bottom tape against the playing surface and also eliminates the center net bunching that occurs. SIZE - Official size, 42’ x 3’6”. Meeting USTA requirements. Net is bottom tapered to 36” high at center for a cleaner look and increased durability. HEADBAND - 65 oz. (20 oz./sq. yd.) 2-Ply vinyl coated polyester headband. All headbands have been lock-sewn with four rows of #32 white polyester thread. Complete with a vinyl coated, 5/32” galvanized steel cable with 2300# break strength. NETTING - Netting is 1-3/4” square mesh braided solid core polyethylene, unsurpassed for durability and weather resistance. 3.0 mm netting with 285 lb. break strength. Top 5 rows are double mesh. SIDE & BOTTOM TAPE - Vinyl bottom tape and side pockets of headbands are polyester based and won’t shrink, mildew or rot when exposed to the elements. Tapes are double lock-stitched with black polyester thread. INCLUDES - 1/2” fiberglass side dowels, lacing cord, and deluxe adjustable center strap. Center strap is made from heavy-duty 2″ polyester white web with nickel plated web slides and straps. WARRANTY - 4 Year Limited The standard height of tennis net at the net post is 42″ but with the center strap it tapers down to 36″ in the center. With a tapered net the center of the net is trimmed down to 36″. This eliminates extra netting that would rub against the court. A tapered net reduces the wear along the bottom therefore prolonging the life of your net.
